My Take: So finally I get around to writing this post. Adega was my first stop for this year’s Nairobi Restaurant Week, well, thats not entirely true, I went to Talisman and Tamambo Blixen only to find that they were fully booked for the weekend :(. On the bright side though, I’ve finally learnt to make reservations, the element of surprise doesn’t really work great when it comes to restaurant. Now, on to Adega, the restaurant has really good ambience, they have a nice outdoor area that gives you a view of the suburban surrounding. For those of you who have kids, you’ll love the kids’ corner/play pen (whatever they are called). The service was good, can’t complain…the portions were generous as you can tell from the pics, and the food was delicious too – only one problem though, for a Portuguese restaurant, the food is not very Portuguese-y, I did not get a hint of any foreign flavours. I’d visit Adega again it was a good experience.
